Scientists have made a Bionic leaf that can produce natural fuels. A bionic leaf has been created by a group of scientists from Harvard University. The leaf is said to use sunlight (solar energy) just like a natural leaf to produce liquid fuels by breaking down water molecules into oxygen and hydrogen. It is like an artificial process of photosynthesis but with a higher efficiency of about 10 per cent, however the usual process is as less as 1 per cent in plants. The alloy used in the leaf is a cobalt-phosphorous combination. The leaf is being called the Bionic Leaf. Here are 8 alternative fuel sources which can be used for a cleaner environment:
