Brace yourselves, Manchester United supporters: confirmation of José Mourinho is likely to come imminently.
José Mourinho has reportedly agreed terms with the Manchester United hierarchy, though "issues such as image rights" still have to be resolved before the Portuguese tactician is officially unveiled. That's according to the Daily Mirror, who claim that an official announcement is as likely to come on Thursday as it is Wednesday.
The deal will apparently be a three-year one, in a rare example of intelligent foresight from Ed Woodward: this way he won't have to sack Mourinho just as the players all decide they hate him. David McDonnell also brings juicy details regarding Mourinho's demands in the transfer market:
