Here's how long different drugs stay in your system

Contrary to what many advertised drug tests might promise, not all substances leave their telltale chemical signature in the body for the same amount of time.
The moment we take a drug — whether we snort, smoke, or swallow it — our bodies begin to break it down. In the process, metabolites, or byproducts, of the drug are produced, which can linger in our blood, urine (and even in our hair) for long after the initial effects of the drug are felt. Traces of these metabolites are what drug testers look for, since they're a good indication that someone has actually used a drug rather than merely come into accidental contact with it.
And while hair-based drug tests are fairly accurate, tests of blood and urine are simply unable to detect the vast majority of drugs, so long as you haven't used for about a week. Heroin, for example, is generally undetectable in urine after three to five days.
As the chart below shows, traces of drugs like LSD, morphine, heroin, amphetamines, and alcohol all remain in the blood for just 12 hours or less:

Kanye West Gets Subtle Response From Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg has responded to Kanye West's ask for money in the most subtle way possible.

The father of Facebook appeared to issue an indirect message by liking a message posted by a former software engineer at the firm.
Steven Grimm wrote: "Dear Kanye West: If you're going to ask the CEO of Facebook for a billion dollars, maybe don't do it on Twitter."
On February 15, Zuckerberg liked the post and although the message has since been taken down it could suggest that the social media giant is unlikely to be bailing the rapper out of debt anytime soon.

West's plea began with: "Mark Zuckerberg I know it's your bday but can you please call me by 2mrw..."

Zayn Malik defends album cover after claims he ripped off Lil Wayne artwork - as snippet from his new song is released

Zayn Malik released the cover for his first solo album Mind Of Mine on Wednesday showing him as a tattooed toddler.

But the 23-year-old is already having to defend himself against claims that he copied the artwork from Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III cover which also shows a tattooed child.
Zayn hit back at detractors, saying he has long been brewing over the album cover idea and slamming those who don’t “appreciate art”.
Zayn debuted the album cover on  Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight show where he played his new track It’s You, speculated to be about ex-fiancee Perrie Edwards.

It’s lyrics read: “She’s got, she’s got, she’s got her own reasons for talking to me/She don’t, she don’t, she don’t give a f*** about what I need.”

Zayn called his appearance on Jimmy’s show “sick” but teased fans that there would be an even better treat soon with a new black and white music video.
Producer Make You Know Love (MYKL) who co-wrote Zayn’s recent hit Pillowtalk has also shared a very short snippet of his new song Drunk All Summer.

Zayn can be heard singing the lyrics, “Late nights/ red eyes/ amnesia.”
You’ll have to wait until Mind Of Mine is released on March 25 to hear the rest.

British Indie Band Killed In Car Bridge Plunge

All four members of British indie band Viola Beach and their manager have been killed after their car plunged off a bridge in Sweden.

Their Nissan Qashqai crashed through a motorway bridge barrier at Sodertalje and fell more than 80ft into a canal.

Police divers recovered the bodies of singer Kris Leonard, guitarist River Reeves, bassist Tomas Lowe, drummer Jack Dakin and the band's manager Craig Tarry, from the water, around 40km (25 miles) from Stockholm.

The Warrington group had played a gig in Sweden on Friday night, according to their Facebook page.

They were due back in the UK to play in Guildford, Surrey, on Saturday night, but the venue said the gig had been cancelled due to "unforeseen circumstances".
Tributes have been paid on social media .

British band The Enemy wrote: "RIP Viola Beach and their manager. Such incredibly tragic and sad news. Thought with the friends and families of all involved x."

The Coral's James Skelly posted: "So sorry to hear about viola beach and Craig tarry's accident so sad, their families must be devastated."

Gemma Hepworth, a friend of Mr Tarry, said he was a life-long Manchester City fan who "never gave up on his dream" of working in the music industry.

She said friends would be paying tribute to him by clapping in the fifth minute at City's game against Tottenham today.

The band's car crashed through a barrier after the bridge - at the Saltskogs junction, between the E4 and the E20 motorways - opened to let a boat pass.

The bridge has a middle section that rises upwards, leaving a gap that the car drove into.

Officers said a barrier, 50 metres before the gap, has flashing lights and signs warning there is a bridge opening.

Swedish police spokesman Martin Bergholm said: "For some reason, the car drove through the barriers and crashed down into the canal."

He added: "The witnesses just saw a car beside them and kind of disappear."

He said it is not yet known whether the men were wearing seatbelts, but added: "That would not have helped them."

Police received a call at 2.30am on Saturday local time, and arrived at the scene five minutes later.

Divers found the car and three bodies. They found the other two bodies an hour later.

They were identified from the passports they were carrying.

The Foreign Office confirmed the deaths of five Britons and said their families were being supported.

Woman Photobombs Tinie Tempah, Ends Up With Modelling Contract

You know the saying. Right time, right place. And never was that truer than with the fairytale like story of Olajumoke Orisaguna. The 27-year-old was working as a bread seller in Lagos, Nigeria when she unintentionally wandered into a shot photographer and musician, Ty Bello, was taking of superstar Tinie Tempah. And aside from being the best photobomb ever, the picture has actually resulted in Olajumoke landing a modelling contract. Amazing!

At first, aside from thinking it was a great shot, Bello didn’t take much notice of the photobomber. But scrolling through the pictures after the shoot Bello was instantly drawn to the woman and decided to appeal on Instagram for information about the mysterious stranger who’d unwittingly upstaged a megastar.

“Who is she?” she wrote on Instagram. “Everyone has been asking if this lady is a model… It was a perfect coincidence… She just happened to be walking by while I photographed. It happened so fast.

"She definitely should be a model. I’m happy to help her build her portfolio if she’s interested.

"She’s so beautiful and photographed so well. I’ll find a way to track her down somehow. You guys can also help.”
Tinie was also fascinated by the bread seller and shared a photo of her on his own Instagram account. Eventually on Thursday 4 February, Bello revealed she’d managed to track down Olajumoke and a few days later shared her first shoot with the fledgling model, which featured on the cover of Nigerian magazine ‘This Day Style’.

“This just made me cry,” Bello wrote. “She really is a blessed woman with an amazing story. I almost can’t believe it.”

Apple to launch new iPhone, iPad in March

Apple Inc is on target to introduce its next iPhone and iPad models on March 15, and aims to start selling the devices in the same week, technology blog 9to5Mac reported, citing sources.

Apple, which will introduce a new 4-inch iPhone, dubbed the "iPhone 5se", and a new iPad Air at a launch event, is unlikely to take pre-orders for the new devices, the blog reported.

The technology giant has hit a trough in iPhone demand. The 0.4 percent rise in shipments in the fiscal first quarter was the slowest-ever increase in iPhone sales since the phone was launched in 2007.

The new 4-inch iPhone 5se is designed to spur iPhone hardware upgrades for customer seeking faster devices without upgrading to the far larger iPhone 6s and 6s Plus screen sizes.

Apple could not be immediately reached for comment.
